Note: Beginning January 2, 2008, all eCampus courses will be taught using BlackBoard CE6. This software upgrade of WebCT(now known as BlackBoard or BB CE6) will replace CE4. The look and feel of the CE6 interface will be different. Also, there will be a different login site. eCampus recommends that students re-set their bookmarks for logging into their CE6 courses.

How to Log Into Your Course

Step 1: To login to any or all of your courses, go to the following site: http://sjsu6.blackboard.com

Step 2: Enter your User name and Password.

Your User name is your 9-digit SJSU ID, the same ID you use to log into MySJSU. (Note: We are no longer using the "W" ID like we used to with CE4).
Your password is the current term: e.g. spring

Your User name and Password are case-sensitive.

Step 3: Change your Password and Set up Security Settings.

When you first log in, you will see a list of your courses in the center of the page. (See example below.)

On the top right side of the page, click on the link called "My Settings".

Check to see if your email address is correct. If not, click on "Edit Profile."

After you click on "Edit Profile", you should enter your email address. All other fields are optional. When finished, click Save.

Next, you should change your password and edit your security settings. Click on "Change Password".

Enter your current password, then your new password two times. You should also create your Secret Question and Secret Answer. By creating this question and answer, the system will then allow you to change your password. If done correctly, you won't have to call anyone to have your password re-set. The system will help you re-set your password. When finished, click Save.

You can now click on the MyBlackBoard tab to view all of your CE6 courses. To view a course, click on the hyperlinked title for the course.
